Although it’s refurbished, I think we can live with that, can’t we?
If we order form KMD, I don’t think the price will be greater than 3.5K. 3.6K at the max. :cool2: If a lot of members are interested, we can have a GO. What do u say guys?
EDIT : It has microSDHC card capability as well. So, if we use Rockbox we can insert an 8GB card(2537 Rs. from Amarbir). So, a 16Gb player for about 6K, not bad eh?
KMD is an awesome seller…who brings product from US which are generally not available in India…in short we call him KMD…actually his techenclave id is KatManDude..
same is available at froobi MP3 Players & Access.
Check it out; it has Sansa sandisk e280 @69$
Best it to order e270(6GB) with ROCKBOX coupon code you can get it in $45.
Update it’s firmware with rockbox firmware and you can increase the expandable memory upto 4GB i.e.
I am once bitten twice shy about buying refurbished products. It’s okay when you are in a situation where time and space are convenient for returning in case the product is defective. Otherwise to get it from the States, just to find it DOA sucks.
I think you can replace the unit once if the problem arises. If the second unit goes kaput, you are doomed!
BTW, IMHO the chances of a refurbished unit going kaput are same as a new one. Refurbished products are just the products that were returned by buyers or which had manufacturing defects and were fixed. I believe they are tested like new units before being sold.
