Is it single channel or multiple ones giving user option to choose?

Apparently it does feature stereo sound, …

Useful Configuration Options
Stereo Separation
Default setting, 100% (Stereo)
Location, Settings → Stereo Separation

Sometimes when using headphones, stereo separation can be quite extreme (complete), meaning that no sound coming to the left ear is heard by the right and vice versa. Such an effect is rarely experienced in every day life and such feels very unnatural when heard. So by mixing the left and right audio channels this “stereo effect” can be reduced or removed entirely.

If you only use speakers (never headphones), this effect is essentially useless.
