I am always one of those who is always up for diversification, but in this case a car electronic section is just waste of space. TE is a computer hardware/software and electronics forum and that is what it is dedicated to.
A thread here and there on car electronics is fine but a section for it is not worth IMHO.

I think its a good idea to have something with car audio…and with all the convergence happening around us…with headunits with bluetooth, USB, ipod connectors etc…its makes sense…
ya… imagine tweaking ECU’s n stuff will be fun man…
I propose a car/bike sub-forum.
Why dont you people understand that most car experts with ultimate knowledge in car electronics, audio are on Team Bhp site and the great thing is that its an Indian forum so you will be able to get local information from that site alone.
If a section is even created then you will see only half-technical answers with out of date information dependent on personal experience from our forum users.
