why both of them showing diff temp???..
its amd 3000+
asus a8ne
no overclk whtsoever…and i dont hav h/w equipments to check temp manually using it..so pls guide..i wanted to start overclking

EDIT: oops
Temperatures are identical in Everest and Asus pc probe.
Just that in everest Tcpu and Taux temps are interchanged. !!!
it should be as follows
Tsystem = The m/b Temp.
Taux = The PWM Temp
Tcpu = The Cpu Temp.
but in ur case Taux and Tcpu temps have got interchanged.
u means its s/w error???and btw pwm means wht???also fan speed in both of them r diff…do i need to install somthing else which is mor accurate
Yes, Everest has apparently interchanged the temperature readings between the CPU temp and PWM temps. Not necessary to install something else, Asus PC Probe should do fine.
PWM = Pulse Width Modulation. Its a technique used to control voltages.
PWM circuitry on your motherboard is used to supply the required voltages/power to the various components like CPU, RAM, etc. Those components produce heat as well, there is a sensor placed near this circuitry to measure the temps.
thks eddy…ctw did u morphed your avtaar or u got it frm somwhere???
