Something like AIDA32

Hi all,
I loved AIDA32 as it used to give all the system specs in one go. Then the people behind it closed the freeware one & went on to develop Everest Ultimate something. The only freeware which I got to know is cpu-z. The only problem with AIDA32 is that’s the database is old so it doesn’t recognize many of the newer models. Are there any free or freeware/shareware which would do the same. Thanx in advance.

Check for the Everest Home Edition. Am not sure if the latest version is available for free download, though..

It’s not hence checking for some other alternatives.

everest home is free

^^ Everest Home is free, and its the best.

Else use Si Soft Sandra Lite.

Everest Home has been discontinued, hence u cant compare info with the latest chipsets/CPUs

EVEREST Free Edition 2.20 dated 2005-08-18 … old HUH ? …

^^ Yeah, pretty old, cause 2.8 is the latest.

However if you have old hardware, then 2.2 should be fine

@ shirish - Get the free demo for Everest 2.80 Ultimate, has most of the info

did get the Everest Ultimate the fully working release. The only issue it doesn’t have bench-marking as was there in AIDA32. It doesn’t say this computer & compares it with others. It just gives brief about other systems. There’s a rumor of a 2.81 floating around which might 've this feature. It isn’t that I’ve a good rig or something but one always like to compare. Lookswise looks lot like AIDA32 with just the updated database. I haven’t seen both of them side by side but it should reveal some interesting tit-bits & maybe some more life can be put into AIDA32. Who knows?
