This is for the moderators. I would like to make one suggestion that I think would benefit the people searching for items in the market section and add good functional value to the site.
Would it be possible to to implement an option wherein a party selling an item could check a box indicating the kind of component he is willing to sell?
i.e. If the item is a graphics card, he could check gfx card, if the item is a PC, he could check whole PC etc. Miscellaneous items could be ticked as misc.
Could this then be incorporated in a seperate market search whereby an interested buyer could check the item he/she is interested in and see at a glance all the available deals? It would greatly benefit both the buyer and the seller in that the buyer sees all the good deals and the seller’s thread does not go unnoticed and is always considered.
Let me know your opinion on the issue. Others also, please feel free to comment. Thanks.

It will become a lot easier to look for things then i guess and can we also have an option in which user ticks wether the item is new or not.. and this thing can be included in search criteria too ..

Its not bad idea but it will be time consuming to implement it for the admins i guess. Even if they decide to do this , it will take considerable amount of time.
moved to feedback.. keep the suggesstions coming , the admins will try to implement the feasible ones when they next do an upgrade probably
Yes I realized that the code changes might be extensive to support this feature and I don’t know what you will do with the older threads(need some site design experts’ opinion on this).
I see it as being very useful though as we go forward. Anyway, it’s good to know that TE admins are considering this as a useful suggestion.
