We have been getting some low level DOS attacks on TE. Unfortunately not much can be done about it apart from waiting for them to pass(or banning the IP). As such, as and when we experience any such attacks, we will take down TE without any notice. Please cooperate. Both me and QF are very busy so we cannot answer each and every thread made on the topic.

OK guys here is an update.
Inspite of our best efforts, the loads are shooting up as soon as we open the forums.
Here is a typical result:

Unfortunately at this moment we have no choice but to keep the forums closed.
Well, do what you must do, even if it goes online, as long as TE comes back online I am pretty sure people are ok with it.
i hope there is some workaround found .
lets just hope that the forums doesnt crash :crash:
Is it still under attack ?? Is the attack IPs from Malaysia/Singapore or using the TOR Network??
We are stable for now. 
im not sure if this is it but same thing used to happen to another site(rlslog)turns out it was a mozilla plugin or toolbar,which was causing the problem…
