My dear friends, I need desperate help from experts, my utorrent hangs sometimes, it will be seen as white page when hangs, when I close it, it will ask for end task and I can close it later, but it will be there still in process explorer, if I kill from there it wont be killed, still lies, even I tried with process explorer software, later IE hangs, same situation, I cant able to browse, I thought IE problem and installed firefox in the system, same problem, only solution for that is to use restart button, even it wont shut down. Any solution please. Even though after reinstalling OS on my system problem exists and seen this problem in 3 systems of having Windows XP.
try reducing the “Global maximum no. of connections”(<250) and “max no of connected peers per torrent”(<130) in utorrent preferences…see if this helps…
Ok, I will try but real problem is not this, when I kill the process through task manager, it is not closing, is there any other way to kill the process, even I tried through process explorer.

which Utorrent version are you using?.Try to upgrade to latest version.
Utorrent has known to have problem with Zone Alarm . Try changing the firewall.

I have tried with all the versions of utorrent, BTW what is the this zone alarm? Where to change the firewall.
^^ The zone Alaram is a firewall software.This has been known to have problems with Utorrent.
I did’t installed any firewall software.
