Using Lesser known image hosts: The bigger ones are blocked

Stoopid sysadmins have blocked IS/picasa/flickr :frowning: I’m sure I’m not the only one with this prob. I’d appreciate if you guys used lesser known third party hosts like imgx.org. Just consider this a humble request

Same ehre. imgx ftw!

You could use

www.tinypic.com

 www.ahpic.com

 www.photobucket.com

+1 for imx.org

GPass, so you don’t need a new host.

+1 for imgx.org

imgx.org rules

supload.com

anything is good as long as you guys use them

and the stupid outflosys pubsense doesnt block it

Imgx.org ftw  easy, safe, fast ,reliable and the admin is our own TE member Varkey. So if you have any problem just Pm him :stuck_out_tongue:

damn, now imgx is blocked :expressionless:

websense is the worst attack on net-freedom.:@

My frnd is an admin, and he says it generates a log showing sites visited most and if they find its not necessarily biz erlated the site is a goner. You maybeat automatically learning systems, but how’d you beat manually configured and monitored blockages. .

I am pissed, wish i’d be working in a tier-2, tier-3 org which can’t afford websense

they’ve even blocked NoScript - JavaScript/Java/Flash blocker . i cant imagine how preventing firefox from installing noscript would make it any more secure :S

cant you chaps like complain or something??

maybe they are just saving bandwidth or find it unnecessary.

anyways go and talk to BOFH directly.

else it would be never ending cat and mouse game.

on your behalf

you can SSH to your Home pc and open any site you want

for this port 22 should be open
