Was email id compromised????

Well i received an email forward from an unknown guy and it had almost n number of people in it in ‘To’ column..but from what i saw…all looks to be techenclave peoples id…like medpal, darkys,nikhil,rio,anshul and many

now hardly i share my gmail id on techenclave and also no one knows my full name on techenclave but this id had my full details (may b i registered with this id on te)

i wanted to know whether techenclave shared its database.???

also the sender name was

Abhishek Patel ```
jaws.scorpio@gmail.com


who is this person???

if mods and  admin want the mail pm me there ids ill forward that

We never share member’s personal info (including email IDs) with anyone else, not even advertisers. We take care so that the info is not leaked and the question of database sharing doesn’t arise.

If you’d like us to investigate the matter, plz PM me the letter that you received along with all email IDs. We’ll try our best!

It seems like you are mixing up sites:P

TE doesnt give away email ids.
As for the mail, I got it too…as u got my name there in the list.
Its from Orkut. I guess you have the person in question added on ur orkut list. Check it out:)

ya i got the stuff it came from orkut..not te…so sorry for the disturbance…but still cant make out from where he got my id…since i dont have that member in my list + i guess he emailed the stuff to techenclave on orkut…but i have already left that group…

and also i dont think orkut allow sharing of email ids unless your marked it…which i havent..so doubt is how he got the id now…lolzzz

That beats me…but i see most of those members in the common friends list there on Orkut.

And thats not from a mail to the Orkut community.
My guess is that you contact the member and ask him to stop sending u the mail;)
