Hey guys,just wanna clear a doubt,I don’t know if this shd be in the troubleshooting section but still..I was just browsing through the net through opera when I minimised it and was abt to open my documents when I suddenly got a message through opera saying..
“FiReBuG owns ur browser”
WTF!!!,I couldn’t open opera nor close the msg so I ctrl+alt+del and then I didn’t see the msg again..can someone tell me wht’s going on?
most probably a spyware or adware…scan ur pc
Update your Opera to the latest version/build as well. Could be a exploit in the older version. Do you use a firewall ?

@Blade-I have d’loaded and installed the latest version now,the one i was using was version 8.51 and I don’t use a firewall.
^^ It has to be a Virus/SPyware/Adware.
What softwares are you using to scan?
Hmm always use a firewall or atleast enable the default winxp sp2 firewall.
Allright,I’ve d’loaded another spyware remover named spybot search and destroy,it detected 2 spywares..
1.Alexa related
2.Hitbox
Well,I removed it,now looks like there’s no other probs.
@goldy-I was using spybazooka but it didn’t detect anything,so now I’m on spybot search and destroy
@Blade-I’m currently using win2k..I use winxp only for bf2 
…but the firewall is enabled in tht whereas I don’t use any in 2000.

ohh ya can i talk abt my problem here… if its ok
anyways.. i got this winxp + sp2 cd with me.. now a days whenever i install winxp.. and shut it down , the first time.. it always shows me an end program
diolog box .. stating " end program - shouldnt be seen" or “you should not see me” something likethis… .. wtf is this???
no spyware/virus/adware detected! 
this is also a spyware it seems..try using a diffrent scanner like monkey did…
immediately post ur process status .. check for any trojans .. also google the exact name firebug to see if u find any similar names in any forums.
one more thing umm try to mask ur ip or use some anoymity while browsing .. are u on static ip or dynamic?

lolz…monkey dload the Hijack this software and run it and then post its log..

extract it to a separate directory like x:/Hijackthis
then run the utility.
save the scan log and attach it here or copy paste here.
