if this is true we might see some profits may be this quarter for AMD ATI
Its getting worser and worser day by day for nvidia..Losing out to ati in all segments..
U know what, at the end of this battle, ati souldn’t rule the monopoly, bad for us gamers
i think then as 4850X2 will be priced close to 4870 and then…4870 sells would be less .
4870X2 from MSI & GeCube are already available at 29K.. We could expect 19-20K for 4850X2..

So it’s not real silicon, but speculation. I’d wait for some retail cards with benchmarks before committing myself to any statements.
9800gx2 is under 300$ now which should be almost same as 4850x2 , so 400$ for it would be high price .
how can u say that? it might also pawn GX2..
even if 4850x2 is little bit (5 -10 % faster ) than GX2 paying 130$ more for it doesnt make sense .
and a likely psu upgrade,its upto ati to make it good with drivers,if tri fire gets better i can see this flying off the shelf.

I doubt the results being much better than 4850CF, just like wat we saw with 4870x2, also the 1 gb models will be crippled with 256bit interface, 9800gx2 is as fast as the 280 in most cases and @ $300 its a much better buy.
