My friend wants to build a high end rig.But before building one,he wants to know when the prices of components like ram,higher end mobos, GPUs like 7900gt and CPUs like E6600,E6700 and E6800(i know this one isn’t available yet) will come down???
So the bottom line is,whether's its worth it to wait for the prices to drop (or if so how long will he have to wait?) or to go ahead and build one right now??
E6600 is 15.2k+tax in bangalore. We got two of them yesterday. Incredible value for money. This is as good as the US price if not better :P. The 6700 is around 22+tax.
That’s a decent price… btw US prices are around 320 or so, isn’t that cheaper or did I get my math wrong? 
$320 would come to 14.5k. 700 bucks price difference is pretty reasonable.
LOL 15.2k/48 is arnd 320$… same as the lowest US price :P.

next price drop should be november/december when vista launches + dx10+quadcore so the older technology will get cheaper
