For 15k’s , the only card that fits in ur budget is the 7900GS … i’d still suggest u to extend a bit more and get a 7900GT … i specially prefer the XFX one’s as they oc like hell ..

Look at a near 30k for the price in India as of now for the same card..

If u can wait then dont buy a card now… Its better to buy a Dx10 card. But with only 2 variants on Dx10 released and that too only from NVidia, prices are gonna be huge…
Wait a little (mayb 3-4 months) till AMD releases R600 or Nvidia releases 8600. Buy those future-proof and close to double performance to similar costing current generation cards…

It would be pointless to get a graphic card right now. Wait for ATI DX10 cards coming out in January/February, and by then NVIDIA DX10 cards will come down in price, then make your decision according to that.
but IMO if u have a gfx card at the moment … wait till march-april for the arrival of R600.. then u may be able to buy 8800GTS from US within the 15K budget
