guys i need to run these files i dloadied xvid and stuff i used windows media player with its codecs but still does not work is there any other such player which support the latest formats??

has media player classic and zoom player in the setup. Haven’t had any trouble playing video files since i started using this.
I would say KMPlayer . it rocks!! . even plays image file(.bin) which is of vcd format 
directly . you dont even need to load that image into a cd drive of an emulator !

Windows Media Player still rocks all the way.
Just install the K-Lite Codec Pack and you shall have no problems.
kmplayer, and windows media player are the best ones.
Media Player Classic,(with real alternative and quicktime alternative), and MPlayer for the more troublesome files.

I don’t recommend installing codec packs as they can wreak havoc at the hands of a unexperienced user. Rather install the separate codecs when required. As for the media player, VLC. Nuff said…
i wud say vlc but after i saw km player,its the best of both worlds vlc +wmp+wmp classic=kmplayer
i agree with blade … but if u wanna get all the codecs then go for the kazaa codec pack … comes with almost everything .. then with windows media player u ll have no issues… and the pack contain media player classic..
