well sometimes they do a secure login,add an additional layer of login. if they notice multiple login attempts or lot of weird activity ,maybe what u were upto :stuck_out_tongue: check out for yet another avtar where they ask you for pasword alone or another one where they give a message saying do you find asnwering a few questions to ensure the login is right.

lol, many times yahoo asked me for my password thrice in the same login…one cant be too careful nowadays:P

yeah, I just about ALWAYS get asked twice. It is irritating as hell.

in addtion to asking for my password the second time, it also asks me to enter the code displayed :stuck_out_tongue:

Also, with Firefox you don’t get all those formatting options when typing a mail. This sucks really.

yeah… others at home were complaining abt that, forcing me to change the default browser back to IE :frowning: . If any1 knows any workarounds…

I generally get a single login screen, though once i had to enter the code displayed.

Try Opera IMHO the best one!

in opera I dont have address autocomplete feature.

Yahoo! Mail has a special WYSIWYG editor for composing mails. Unfortunately Yahoo themselves have mentioned its supported only in IE, not in Firefox. But they claim to be working on one for Firefox as well. So no workarounds at the moment, other than waiting :wink:

This is not uncommen ! I have experienced this with many other sites not only Yahoo !

Infact I had to redesign an full part of my site cause IE wasnt showing it the way I wanted too, but in FF it was perfectly fine !

Edit: Notice in the pictures that FF has the Windows Icon ! :rofl:, god knows how that happened !

Yahoo Mail also supports Netscape 7.2 and 8 or vice versa :P:P

tehre was this some yahoo photoblog IIRC…only IE supported..i got a unsuppoted browser thingy when i clicked on it using FF

Hmm.. Orkut also opens differently on IE and FireFox ..
