Very good prices on 9500GT (at this price this is gonna be the preferred entry level gfx card at TE as 9500GT easily beats 8600GT).
As for 9800GT, it is also priced competitively. For Nvidia, it’s gonna eat sales of 9600GT and some 9600GSO but for consumer’s it’s a good preposition. Though after a month or so, it will need to come down by at least Rs 500 to Rs 700 as I expect 4850 prices to fall a little by then.
AMP edition I am not too sure about as price wise it is too close to 4850 for its own comfort. For just 1 to 1.5K more 4850 is a hell lot of a faster card. Of course, assuming that 9800GT is not more than 5% faster than 8800GT. We are yet to see the reviews so we will know for sure only after 24 hours.
Thnx again zotac..
Both 9800GT & 9500GT Prices luks very good.. With this launch - 9600GT, 8800GT & 8600GT are no more to be recon now, except 9600GSO which is nicely priced at 6.5K..
based on the above review posted by psdatta2005 the 9800GT is some serious competition to ATi 4850 in the nVidia ruled Indian market :S and the Zotac pricing being attractive exclusive of tax looks like this card gonna sell like 8800GT sold some tiem back
That card (9500 GT)for 5k is expensive, when it retails for 70 USD in states, give us some realistic prices, 25-30% markup is ok, but not 90-95% markup. Also prices in India never go down, it will remain 5k for next 1.5 yrs, 4k would be a sweet price for the card.
now this is retarded, 9500gt ddr3 for 5555 is way too high when us$ converts to 3780, that is Rs. 1775 more, now c’mon does it take that amount for shipping? i don’t think so!
